Smartness is something that is not easy to acquire but once acquired can help you achieve paramount amount of success in your life. Some associate hard work with success but I am against that idea. I am not saying that hard work is just not required but hard work is not the core of it. More than hard work Jalen Reeves-Maybin Lions Jersey , what a person requires to be successful is smartness. Smartness does not mean knowing bookish information but smartness is having information and then applying and using that information for practical purposes in a smart and innovative way. Smartness is not something that you can achieve in just a few hours or days; it needs to be developed with experience and a willingness to do so. Thus, even for homework the need for the hour is to work smarter and not harder.

You have to realize that while doing homework, you are not doing a labor’s job that you would need to put in higher physical strength or more number of hours to finish all your work. You have to put in efforts and long hours but putting in more hours than you usually do does not mean that you would do better in homework or that you would lean more or better. This is just a myth. People who ask you to simply spend extra number of hours don’t really understand the purpose of homework at all. Homework is all about better learning and more number of hours does not correspond to that. Instead you need to learn the art and skill of making sure that whatever homework you do, it benefits you and learn from it. Simply doing homework is not important but what is important is how you do it and till what extent you can implement it in your real life.

And for working smarter, you need to be smart and careful about the tools and techniques you employ. You simply cannot just say it and become smart overnight. You need to implement different methodologies for making your homework effective. Taking homework help from experts and thus saving up your time on unfruitful activities is what is called smartness. Forming homework groups for getting homework help and for enhancing the accuracy of your work is what is called smartness. And trying to implement things in real lives is what is called smartness. Thus, you would figure out that smartness doesn’t reduce your work or your learning; it is just a technique that assists you in doing the same things better and faster so that you can make room for further learning and understanding. Thus, you should stop trying to always work harder and should focus on ways that help you work smarter in all aspects.
NANCHANG, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Migratory birds this year chose to overwinter at Poyang Lake in the eastern province of Jiangxi.

Poyang, China's largest freshwater lake, is a seasonal destination for over a million birds. Although most leave for warmer regions like Australia in autumn, around 70,000 birds stayed last winter.

"In recent years, we have seen more migratory birds remain at Poyang," Li Chunru, who leads a bird rescue group near the lake, said. He added that the area now experienced warmer winters and its ecology had improved as a result of environmental protection efforts by the government.

At the end of 2009, the State Council approved construction of the Poyang ecological economic zone, to explore development that followed a balanced path of ecology and economy.

The local government of Jiangxi also introduced measures that helped improve the environment in Poyang, such as the Jiangxi wet land protection regulation and the environmental protection of Poyang Lake ecological economic zone regulation, which were both issued in 2012.

The province no longer only uses gross domestic product (GDP) to evaluate local government performance, and since 2013 has incorporated factors such as emissions and air quality into its assessment system.

Jiangxi provincial authorities said there were further supporting laws, regulations and policies in the pipeline.

Besides Jiangxi, other local governments have released laws and regulations to improve the environment.

The provincial legislature of Hubei in central China passed a regulation banning the practice of slashing and burning crops in February, which will take effect in May.

Burning straw is a major cause of PM 2.5. About 33 million tonnes of straw is burned annually in Hubei.

In Nanping City, in the eastern province of Fujian, 74.75 percent of its land is forested, and its air and water quality are high.

Mayor Lin Baojin said that seven of the city's 10 counties had stopped using GDP as an assessment criterion.

"This does not mean these areas will stop growing economically, as economic development is still key to poverty alleviation. We are just encouraging these counties to pursue high quality and sustainable development."

The city has also been focusing on developing new industries including biomedical, creative and modern logistics.

Registering average annual GDP growth of 45 percent over the past three years, the city's per capita annual income for rural residents has grown by 12 percent over the past two years.

Li lauded Nanping as an example of the success of balanced development."Good natural environment and affluence can be mutually beneficiary," he said.

SEOUL, March 4 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's top economic policymaker on Wednesday stressed the need for a rapid minimum wage hike to boost the sluggish domestic demand. "Domestic demand cannot be survived without an adequate level of wage increase," Finance Minister Choi Kyung-hwan said at a forum held in Seoul, citing the United States and Japan, where leaders made similar claims.

The Park Geun-hye government has raised minimum wages by an annualized rate of around 7 percent, Choi said, noting that it cannot help but lift minimum wages at a rapid pace this year as well.
