DHAKA http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/herre-nike-air-max-97-sko-hvid-312641-004-danmark.html , Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Troops have been deployed in at least seven northern Bangladesh districts as flood water pouring down hills engulfed almost the entire region.

Officials in Dinajpur district, some 338 km northwest of capital Dhaka, said flood situation in the district deteriorated drastically since early Sunday, with major protection embankments developing massive cracks.

The situation in adjacent Lalmonirhat and Kurigram was also described by officials as critical, with hundreds of thousands of people marooned by on- rushing water.

As flood ravages continued in about one-third of Bangladesh http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/nike-air-max-97-kpu-sort-udsalg-herre-sko.html , 14 more people died Monday, raising the death toll to 32 since Sunday, local sources said.

Members of the Bangladesh Army have been mobilized to support the local government to tackle flood, Dinajpur district administration chief Mir Khairul Alam told journalists Monday.

Hundreds of Army troops have already been deployed so far in seven northern Bangladesh districts to repair embankments and conduct rescue operations.

Flood- protection embankments in the districts continued to get battering from rapid flooding waters, rushing downhill in the Indian states http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/billige-vans-nintendo-slip-on-pure-hvid.html , neighboring the north and northwestern bulge of Bangladesh.

Rail links between the region and the rest of Bangladesh snapped Monday when miles of stretch of the railway track running through the region went under water.

Road links also broke down. According to officials at the Flood Warning and Forecasting Center in Dhaka, all the major rivers in the districts and elsewhere in the country continued to rise through Monday.

The collapse of communications systems has hampered emergency relief operations in places of the flood-hit areas.

Floods have so far reportedly hit 20 districts, mostly in the country's north.

The country's Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre said more areas are likely to be inundated as water continued to rise amid monsoon rains and onrush of water from the upstream.

Sazzad Hossain of the flood forecasting agency said rising water-level was recorded at 69 out of the 90 monitoring points of the rivers across the country Monday.

According to flood forecasting agency, the entire flood situation will aggravate over the next few days as the water-level on the the major Jamuna River was at a record 126 cm above the danger level on Monday, breaking the previous record of 121 cm last year.

Bangladesh's Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya Monday said some 600 http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-toy-story-sort-vans-sko-udsalg.html ,000 people across Bangladesh have been affected by the flash floods, with about 368,586 people taking refuge in shelters.

He said the government is well prepared to face any situation and ease people's suffering with adequate food stock.

BAGHDAD http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-toy-story-old-skool-hvid-vans-sko-old-skool.html , Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations on Sunday warned that thousands of civilians are expected to flee the town of Tal Afar and surrounding areas, as the Iraqi security forces began offensive to dislodge Islamic State (IS) militants from their last stronghold in Iraq's northern province of Nineveh.

"Thousands of people are fleeing Tal Afar for safety. Families are trekking for 10 to 20 hours in extreme heat to reach mustering points. They are arriving exhausted and dehydrated," the Humanitarian Coordinator for Iraq, Lise Grande, said in a statement.

Grande described the situation inside Tal Afar as "very tough http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/herre-vans-sk8-hi-reissue-udsalg-flade-rod.html ," because food and water are running out, and people lack the basic necessities to survive, according to the statement by the UN office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

"More than 30,000 people have already fled the district. We don't know how many civilians are still in the areas where fighting is occurring, but we are preparing for thousands more to flee in coming days and weeks http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-sk8-hi-slim-leather-tilbud-hvid-vans.html ," said Grande.

She expressed deep concerns about the "extreme risks that families are facing," calling on all parties of the conflict "to avoid civilian casualties and ensure people have the assistance they are entitled to under international humanitarian law."

The statement came hours after the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared the start of an operation to retake control of the northern town Tal Afar from IS militants.

"We announce the launch of an operation to liberate Tal Afar. I say to Daesh (IS militants) -- either you surrender or die," Abadi said in a televised speech.

Tal Afar, some 70 km west of Mosul, is the last IS redoubt in the northern Iraqi province of Nineveh. Up to 350 http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-sk8-hi-reissue-sort-vans-sko-denmark.html ,000 to 400,000 people used to live in the town and surrounding areas, including 250,000 people in Tal Afar itself. But most of them left their homes either due to the sectarian strife during the years after 2003, or after the town fell to the IS in 2014.

The majority population of Tal Afar area are Sunni and Shiite Turkomans http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-old-skool-hvid-guld-old-skool-vans-tilbud.html , in addition to the minority of Kurds and other minorities.

The United Nation's International Organization for Migration estimates that some 10,000 to 40,000 people are still living in the town of Tal Afar and surrounding areas.

Earlier, the army's Major General Najim al-Jubouri, commander of Nineveh's Operations Command http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/vans-old-skool-sort-old-skool-vans-tilbud.html , told reporters that he estimated there were between 1,500 and 2,000 IS militants left in Tal Afar.
