BEIJING Authentic Darron Lee Jersey , Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- China vowed "unswerving efforts" to tackle overcapacity and pursue innovation-driven growth, said a statement issued Friday after the four-day Central Economic Work Conference closed.

"Unswerving efforts will be made to tackle overcapacity, and the central government's decisions and arrangements on the issue should be implemented without compromise," the statement said.

Three-dimensional policy drives steady growth of Chinese economy in 2013

BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- A three-dimensional policy focusing on the macro economy, micro economy and social security has led to steady growth of the Chinese economy in 2013 amid uncertain post-crisis recovery worldwide.

China's macroeconomic data released this week show the country is on track to meet the government's economic growth target for this year. Full story

China's economy to grow 7.5%

BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- China's economy is expected to expand 7.6 percent in 2013 and then edge down to around 7.5 percent in 2014, the State Information Center (SIC), a government think tank, has forecast.

The SIC advised the central government to set the economic growth target for 2014 at 7 percent in an effort to focus more effort on reform and adjusting the economic structure. Full story

China's economy to maintain growth: think tank

BEIJING, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- A major government think tank on Tuesday predicted "a stable growth with medium and high-speed" for China's economy in 2014, but said that high local government debt, employment and environmental issues still challenge the country's development.

According to "The Economic Bluebook: Analysis and Forecast of China's Economy in 2014," issued by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the country's GDP will increase by about 7.5 percent in 2014, and reform, opening up and economic restructuring will accelerate. Full story

China Focus: China's central bank expected to maintain monetary stance

BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Higher-than-expected growth in China's new RMB lending and total social financing in November indicates that China's liquidity conditions remain favorable for 7.5 percent or higher GDP growth, and the central bank is likely to maintain its monetary stance, economists said.

Market participants had been worried over possible credit tightening measures by the central bank, the People's Bank of China (PBOC), due to a jump in yields on Chinese government bonds (CGB) in mid-November.

Premier League club Manchester United players are definitely beheld on a league of their own. Manchester United has, is and always will be regarded as a football chasm of the most idiosyncratic and talented spitfires of football players known to the modern day football aficionados.

The Manchester United club is known to have collected and even made most of the existing stars of football. Take some of the most celebrated football players in the history, whether it is on a long term contract basis or loan spells, they must have played for Manchester United at some point in their life. Football heavyweights such as Park Ji-Sung, Mark Hughes, Rio Ferdinand, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and the infamous David Beckham have all donned the red and white costume and responded to the term ‘Red Devils’. And, now joining that list of elites is Robin Van Persie who is currently the striker for the team.

Van Persie embarked on the journey to football glory when he joined the SBV Excelsior's youth squad as a kid of fourteen years. The following year, he signed with the Feyenoord and made a significant move to Arsenal. He has spent most of his professional football career with the Gunners, helping them to a number of championships. During his time with the club, he has garnered a considerable amount of plaudits such as the Premier League Player of the Month which he won three times and the Rotterdam Sportsman of the year award which he took home in 2006. Robin Van Persie profile is nothing if not impressive. His statistics alone had the clubs fighting each other out for a contract with the star, during the 2012 transfer window. But as luck and the force that joins all things epic, would have it, Van Persie found his way to the Manchester United, as if it was fate.

A month after he signed a four year contract with the club worth £22.5 million, he scored a hat trick which helped the United to a 3-2 victory over Fulham and in the process justified the price tag on his head. In January 2013, he scored the iconic goal that not only pushed Manchester United to a 2-1 victory against arch rivals Liverpool, but also earned him the favored ‘Man of the Match’ title from the fans themselves. This is apparently his 17th goal of this Premier League season. He keeps this up and he is well on his way to having his spot on the Manchester United hall of fame.

Though its certainly not common knowledge, the first video game was not designed for a television screen, computer console, or smart phone. This two-dimensional, line drawing abstraction of early video gaming seems beyond primitive by today’s standards, but it does have the distinction of being the first of its kind. This simple, two-dimensional example of early video gaming appears to the modern eye to be primitive beyond words, however, in 1947, it was the harbinger of all the video games to come.

It didn’t take long before other simple video games followed; written in 1951, the computer game Draughts came out for the NPL Pilot ACE computer; a tic-tac-toe game followed in ’52, written for the EDSAC computer platform. A primitive tennis game, created in 1958 eventually led to the commercially successful Pong.

These forerunners of today’s video games, while obviously lacking in most, if not all, of the factors considered minimum requirements .
